Who I Am
Hey there! My name is Mohsin Furkh, and I am a computer science researcher with a passion for deep learning and medical imaging. I have a background in mathematics, physics, and information technology and have dedicated my career to exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence and medicine.
I was born and raised in the remote village of Kullar in the district of Anantnag. I completed my secondary education at the Govt. Hr. Sec. School Kullar and went on to earn my BSc in Mathematics, Physics, and Information Technology from Degree College Baramulla. I then completed my Master's in computer applications from the University of Kashmir and later my Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) from Mewar University Chittorgarh Rajasthan, where my research work was focused on Face recognition and face detection algorithms.
Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Hyderabad, where my research focus is on "deep learning in medical imaging". I have qualified UGC-JRF two times with a percentile of 99.14 and 99.88, respectively. I have published two papers, and two are under review in top journals.
My aim is to become a valuable asset in artificial intelligence and medical imaging. My dedication and passion for my work will always remain for research contributions. In my free time, I enjoy playing cricket, reading books, trekking, bike driving, and coding. I also follow Islamic Sufism and am a very compassionate person who loves challenges and solving problems.
